Butterfly Program Foundation

Artwork by child in The Butterfly ProgramThe Butterfly Program, sponsored by Children's Hospital Colorado and Porter Hospice of Centura Health at Home, has filled a unique and relatively empty niche in the Denver metropolitan community since 1999.  The program provides comprehensive pediatric palliative care, serving families with children who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and who are likely to have less than twelve months to live.

The Butterfly Program admits children equitably on the basis of need, not the ability to pay for services.  Because supportive services including counseling, chaplain visits and bereavement services are not reimbursed, the program relies heavily on fundraising for support.

Help a child today by making an online donation. *Be sure to select The Butterfly Program under the program drop down menu. Your entire donation will go towards providing children and their families the supportive services they need.
